Are Classes online or In Person
All classes are in person.
Are you accredited by the CA department of public health?
Yes, our program is approved and accredited by the California department of public health. You can go to CDPH website and search for our school in Contra Costa County
Do I need to have a high school diploma?
No, high school diploma is not a requirement. You must be 16 years of age to enroll
Do you provide CEU credits for existing CNAs?
Yes, we do provide CEU (continuing education units) credits.
How do I schedule my state exam?
You can find all the information about your state exam on the “Credentia” website.
How long is the training program?
Our CNA training program consists of 5 Weeks of training, which includes classroom learning, as well as clinical training.
I am not Covid vaccinated. Can I still take the course?
If you are not vaccinated, you can still join the program. During the clinical training you will be asked to go through a weekly COVID testing.

Where are the Clinical facilities located?
We partner with a few different clinical facilities for providing clinical training to our students. All these facilities are located in Antioch.
Will I be provided a uniform or scrubs?
Students must purchase a black set of scrubs to wear during clinical training. There is no dress code for the theory / class room training.

Do you have a waitlist?
Yes. If the class you are looking for is full, you can submit a request to be added to waitlist.
How do I enroll?
Call to schedule an appointment.
How do i get my Live Scan and when do I need to submit it?
We will connect you to a live scan facility and submit your live scan to initiate back ground screening. We need a copy of your live scan request form on first day of your class. Please note that as you long as you have “initiated” the live scan before your 1st day of class, you can start the training.
I do not have a drivers license or state ID. Can I still join?
You can submit your passport copy, or school ID as an identification proof, and join our CNA training program.
What is the minimum age to enroll in CNA training?
16 years of age
Fee and Payments
Do you have an installment plan?
Once you have paid the initial deposit of $200, you can pay the remaining fee in 2 installments of $900 and $900 each. All the installments must be paid before start of the Clinical Training.
Do you provide Financial Aid?
We do not provide Financial Aid
How do I cancel my enrollment?
Please send an email to sandra@tutoringwithchubbs. Cancellations can only be done through email.
How much is the tuition fee?
CNA program tuition Fee is $2000. This fee includes charges for books, However it does not include uniforms, supplies and charges for Live Scan Fee ($60+) and the state examination fee ($120).
